SUMMARY:2025 Book Club
DESCRIPTION:New for 2025\, we will be hosting a monthly book club!  We will feature nature-based books starting with “Nature’s Best Hope” by Doug Tallamy in January\, and “Wildscape” by Nancy Lawson in February.  At our first meeting\, we will also be voting on what books to feature in the future.  The yearly membership fee will be $10 per person\, and Book Club members will receive a 20% discount on books if you’d like to purchase the books from Scioto Gardens.  Members are welcome to bring snacks to share\, and Scioto Gardens will provide a selection of hot tea and cocoa. \nMeetings will be held in our retail shop during cold weather\, and on our porch in the summer.  While we do have space heaters in our shop\, it can be a little chilly so plan accordingly.  To register\, just navigate over to our online store (link below)!  If you’d like to purchase the book “Nature’s Best Hope” in preparation for our first meeting\, let us know that as well by emailing us at folks@sciotogardens.com and we can set a pick-up date or make other arrangements as needed. \nFor our out-of-town friends\, we are keeping our meetings in-person for now due to logistical issues. \n  \nWhen:  Fourth Thursday of the Month (Starting Thursday\, January 23\, 2025) from 6pm – 8pm \nWhere: In-person at Scioto Gardens\, 2870 Curve Rd\, Delaware\, OH 43015 \nCost:  $10 per person for the 2025 year \nBook Discount: 20% off books purchased from Scioto Gardens! \nTo Register:  Purchase your 2025 Book Club Membership in our online store at: https://sciotogardens.com/product/2025bookclubmembershipevent/ \n
