‘Ice Dance’ Sedge is a non-native, variegated, clump-forming and semi-evergreen perennial. It brightens up shady areas of the garden and needs no maintenance in moderate to moist soils, other than a simple cut back in spring. It does not tolerate full sun, but it can become fairly drought tolerant once established. The dense clumps divide easily after a few growing seasons, and can be planted along shady pathways with hostas, coralbells and ferns. This sedge is well-behaved and does not have invasive tendencies.
