Description
A compact, shrub with yellow flowers in mid-summer. Leaves are first burgundy, then green and copper, finally bronzy-red in fall. Readily suckers to form a dense clump. Attracts hummingbirds. Host for 4 species of Lepidoptera. Tolerant of a wide variety of soil and light conditions including salt and drought.
