Description
Compact basal rosettes of green to sometimes purple leaves with red centers. Blue flowers appear in late spring and early summer sometimes without petals, but despite they still attract lots of pollinators. Will spread and form a dense groundcover making it a good native substitute for Ajuga. Adaptable to most soils. OH native. Full sun to part shade. 18″ Zone 5 (FACW)
