For clients who are starting with a blank canvas or want to change their current landscape with a cohesive design that is thoughtful and creative, including hardscapes. This is our most comprehensive service for those looking to do substantial landscaping to the front, back or entire property.
What is included
- A site visit by a landscape designer to see your space and take measurements
- Up to three virtual meetings to discuss direction and revisions*
- Detailed full-color, to-scale, digital 2D design
- Plant list including names, quantities and images
- Example images of landscape elements, if applicable

- Construction documents
- Complex grading or surveying
- HOA permit submission documents
- 3D design graphics
What it costs
This service ranges from $749 to $3,499 depending on size of area to be designed, complexity (e.g., grading, water management) and design elements to be included (e.g., hardscape [deck, patio, walkway]), structures, etc..
For example, a smaller area that requires a planting plan, but does not include new hardscape elements or major bed design would be at the lower end of the pricing plan. Large, full site landscape designs including new hardscape elements, new landscape beds, water management and overall new flow and function would be at the higher end of the pricing plan.
The process
Step 1: Let us know you are interested

Step 2: Complete our design questionnaire
The questionnaire will give us insight on your needs, preferences and challenges regarding your space.
Step 3: Initial phone call
During this call we will get further understanding of your goals and any clarification needed from your questionnaire answers.
Step 4: Agreement and initial payment
Once we’ve discussed the size and scope of your project, we’ll provide an agreement and collect 50% of the total cost. The remaining balance will be due once the final design is delivered.
Step 5: Site visit
We will visit your site, walk the space with you, take measurements and begin site inventory and analysis.
Step 6: Meeting to discuss our concept and direction*
During the site visit, or afterwards during a virtual meeting, we will discuss our design concept and direction for the next phases of the design process.
Step 7: Virtual meeting to review the preliminary design
A preliminary design is the first complete picture of the design including general materials and plant types.
Step 8: Virtual meeting to review the final design
The final design builds on all the previous steps of the process. It includes a refined selection of materials and structures, greater detail of design elements and individual placement of specific plants.
Step 9: Digital delivery of final design and plant list
Master plans are detailed, full-color and to-scale. A client’s plant list will include common and botanical names, quantities and images.
*For those clients who only require a planting design using existing hardscape elements and bed shapes, a concept design and review will not be included in the service.
